Overview

Machine-Grade PET Strapping Rolls, Built For The Line

Machine-Grade PET Strapping Rolls are our long-length, machine-grade coils, wound specifically for uninterrupted feed through automatic and semi-automatic strapping heads. Splice count is kept to a minimum per roll, so production lines run longer between reel changes.

Available on standard or large-format cores to suit different machine models, these rolls are built for high-volume environments — bottling lines, co-packing plants and distribution centres — where consistent tension and reliable pay-off directly affect uptime.

Why It Works

Key Features

Built for continuous machine feed

Engineered for automatic strapping heads with minimal interruptions.

Low splice count per roll

Fewer joins per coil means fewer manual interventions on the line.

Consistent seal tension

Even winding tension supports repeatable, reliable strapping seals.

Broad machine compatibility

Sized to suit common automatic and semi-automatic strapping head models.

Colour Variations

Available Colours

Machine coils are produced in green and black. Colour is worth using here as a magazine marker — one colour per break strain stops the wrong coil being loaded into a head set up for a different grade.

Green The industry default for polyester. Reads as PET at a glance on a mixed pallet. Standard
Black Highest UV tolerance in the range — the usual choice for loads staged outdoors. Standard

Colour is added to the melt during extrusion, so it runs through the full section of the strap rather than sitting on the surface — it cannot scuff off against a carton or a forklift tine. Standard colours carry the normal minimum order; a bespoke shade needs a dedicated run and is matched against a sample first. Break strain, elongation and weld quality are held level across every colour.

Specialty Options

Built To Your Specification

A machine coil is built around the head it feeds. Tell us the make and model of your strapper and we match the section, coil weight and core to it.

UV Resistant A stabiliser package carried in the polymer, for coils and strapped loads that stand in direct sun rather than under a roof.
Smooth Or Embossed An embossed face grips the seal and the load harder and cuts strap-to-strap slip; a smooth face feeds more quietly through an automatic head.
Coloured Pigmented through the section in any of the colours above — for grade marking, route sorting or a house colour.
Printed Strapping Your name, a batch code or a handling instruction repeated down the strap, subject to order volume.
Custom Core & Coil Built to the core diameter, coil weight and traverse your dispenser or machine magazine is already set up for.
Low-Elongation Grade A stiffer grade that gives up less length under load, for dense goods that must not settle in transit.
