One Fold, Two Fewer Seals
Centre-Fold Shrink Film arrives already folded down its length and wound as a double layer. The product is placed into the open fold, the sealing bar closes the two open edges, and the pack goes straight through the tunnel. The folded edge needs no seal at all.
That geometry is what makes it the standard film for L-sealers and semi-automatic sleeve wrappers. It halves the sealing work, removes a seam from the finished pack, and keeps the cycle short enough for a single operator to run a bench line at pace.
It is supplied in polyolefin for high-clarity retail packs and in polyethylene where a tougher, lower-cost film is enough — printed matter, media, stationery, hardware, and multi-packs of cartoned goods.

Applications
Performance Characteristics
On a sealing line the film either runs all shift or it does not. These are the properties that decide which, and each is confirmed on the datasheet.
Shrink ratio
approx. 50% / 50%How far the film contracts in each direction. Balanced shrink is what pulls a rectangular pack tight without puckering one face.
Seal strength
HighForce the side seal withstands before it peels. Governs whether packs survive tumbling through a chute and into a carton.
Shrink temperature window
WideThe spread of tunnel temperatures that give an acceptable pack. A wide window means the line tolerates a cold start or a slow conveyor.
Optical clarity
High gloss, low hazeGloss and haze on the finished pack. On retail product this is what the shopper sees before they see anything else.
Tear resistance
HighResistance to a nick at the perforation or seal spreading into a split during handling.
Puncture resistance
Moderate to highEnergy absorbed before a corner breaks through — the limiting factor when packing rigid or angular goods.
Film memory
ControlledPost-shrink recovery. Enough to keep the pack tight as it cools, not so much that it distorts the contents.
Gauge tolerance
TightUniform thickness across the web, which is what keeps seal quality even from one edge of the pack to the other.
